The webinar No. 7 “Rethinking governance of coastal and marine resources in Latin America and the Caribbean” will take place on 30 November at 10 a.m. Panama time.
The relationship between land and coastal activities requires a better understanding of their interconnections in order to develop governance models that respond to the region’s challenges inherent to the interactions between land and sea.
Through the seventh webinar in the series “Marine litter: legal tools to address the crisis“, we aim to rethink coastal marine governance. This will include the presentation of two international reports on policy options to eliminate plastic marine litter, and the evidence base demonstrating the need for better coordination of governance between land-based activities and marine resources. At the same time, we will have the opportunity to listen to a regional perspective on the matter.
