The BCCC-SCRC implements various projects\/activities to contribute to the implementation of the Basel, Stockholm, Rotterdam and Minamata Conventions, which are global treaties to protect human health and the environment <\/b>of the adverse effects of certain chemicals, which is directly aligned with initiatives such as SAICM and with some of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).<\/div>\n[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_column][vc_column column_padding=”padding-3-percent” column_padding_position=”all” background_color_opacity=”1″ background_hover_color_opacity=”1″ column_shadow=”none” column_border_radius=”none” width=”1\/2″ tablet_text_alignment=”default” phone_text_alignment=”default” column_border_width=”none” column_border_style=”solid”][vc_column_text]The countries approved a work plan in September 2015: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development<\/a>, to achieve a\u00a0sustainable planet\u00a0<\/b>in 15 years.
